About the event
Your slides can indirectly say a lot about your content - before you say a word. How far in advance did you prepare? Are you going to be reading directly from your slides? Do you have a story to tell? Is my time better spent just reading the slides afterward? Will I have to sit in the front row to read the text?
After attending this session, participants will be able to:
- Explain aspects of slide design that promote accessiblity for a broad audience
- Discuss how slide visuals can scaffold new information for better understanding
- Use a rubric to assess and improve each slide in a presentation
